Our Story
I've always had the love for the outdoors, the kind that grows every time I breathe in mountain air or go on a random hike somewhere on a Tuesday.
But like most people, life gets busy.
And like most people, I have had multiple jobs over my years, from cafes to seasonal gigs, to full time office jobs, doing what needed to be done, while that need to see the world is pushed to the corner.
Things really began in 2018 when I left for Canada to work at a ski resort. And that decision changed everything. I fell in love with the mountains and the lifestyle that came with them. I spent the next few years chasing winters, living in the alpine regions of Japan, Canada, and Australia, working as an instructor and in mountain operations. The mountains gave me something I didn’t know I was missing from all the regular jobs - joy.
Our Mission
The Zvey was born out of that journey through time, work, and growth and most obviously, experience. I’ve never seen myself as a hardcore mountaineer or full-time explorer as that is a whole new ball game in itself. I’m just regular person who enjoys getting out when I can, whether it’s a casual weekend hike, a quiet lake walk, or a spontaneous road trip.
Our mission is to make the outdoors feel more accessible. Not by lowering standards, but by raising the idea that outdoor gear should be for everyone, not just the pros or the people with endless free time. It should be high quality, comfortable, and made with intention. And it should not cost a fortune.
What We Do
At The Zvey, we’re creating gear and apparel designed for the everyday adventurer, people who enjoy the outdoors casually, but still want gear that performs. Every product that we make is built with premium materials, thoughtful details, and a clean, versatile style that fits into your day whether you're out on a trail or heading to town.
We focus on comfort, quality, and simplicity. Great gear built by someone who has lived and understands outdoor culture. We’re not trying to compete with the biggest brands. We’re here to offer something honest, practical, and inspired by real experience.
